Works for me after removing my makeup and also in the morning. I believe most japanese or even korean cleansers like this are good quality as there's no dryness after using at all.
The lather of this soap is very mild and it did not irritate my skin at all.
Face feels clean afterwards. Actually have never seen it in Japan, but will keep a lookout for this product when I'm there next year.
