There are small little coloured beads in the formula but they didn't make my skin feel stripped at all. I agree with the rest that it cleans but is not drying.
Cleanser is very creamy, and quite good in washing for my oily-dry skin.
Skin feels clean but not dry at all afterwards. The foam also lathers quite easily by itself, and I only have to squeeze a small amount for my whole face.
